Meet The Team

Dr Arif Gulzar, PhD

Dr Arif Gulzar specializes in cyclotron operation and isotope production as well as purification radiochemistry and quality control, including ¹⁸F, ⁶⁴Cu, ⁶⁸Ga, ⁸⁹Zr, and ²⁰³Pb and (212Pb from 228Th). He is a National Imaging Facility Fellow in Australia and manages the Targeted Alpha Therapy Centre at the University of Queensland. Dr Gulzar has extensive experience from the Hevesy Laboratory in Denmark and serves on the editorial boards of several journals.

Dr Parveen Kundu, MBBS, MD

Dr Parveen Kundu is an expert in radiopharmaceutical drug delivery and patient consultations. A graduate of AIIMS, New Delhi, she has established a radionuclide therapy center in Rohtak, Haryana. Dr Kundu brings over 12 years of experience in both private and government sectors, focusing on PET-CT and radionuclide therapy for cancer patients.

Dr Rajat Vashistha, PhD

Dr Rajat Vashistha specializes in PET image acquisition, reconstruction, analysis, and AI-driven solutions. He is a postdoctoral research fellow at the University of Queensland, funded by the Cancer Council Queensland. Dr Vashistha’s research includes identifying image biomarkers for cancer prognosis and survival analysis, with industrial internship experience with Siemens Healthinners in dynamic imaging and time-of-flight-based scanner reconstruction.

Dr Saikat Ghosh, PhD

Dr Saikat Ghosh is an expert in radiochemistry, quality control, and preclinical trials. He has extensive experience in developing and validating targeted radiopharmaceuticals and theranostic agents. Dr Ghosh has worked with GlyTherix Ltd., Mater Research Institute, and Telix Pharmaceuticals, and holds a Queensland Radiation user Licence. He is currently involved in multiple targeted theranostics projects at the Australian Research Council Hub for Manufacturing of Targeted Radiopharmaceuticals.

Sandeep Sharma, MSc, NM

Sandeep specializes in radiation safety, radiolabeling, and quality control of clinically used isotopes. He has experience in ensuring regulatory compliance with AERB. Currently a Nuclear Medicine Physicist and Radiation Safety Officer at RNM, he brings 5 years of experience across private and government sectors in India.
